Mesa Trail Hostel

The Mesa Trail Hostel is an exploration in abstract architectural forms. The building is composed of the relationship between the sculptured and organic curve of the retaining wall and the rigid geometry of the connecting structure. The curved back provides protection against the strong northeast mountain winds. An open southern facade provides excellent views for travelers into the Colorado wilderness.
